My story

Hi, I’m Gaby.

I’m a plant biologist and have worked in academia since 2006. I completed a Master’s degree, a PhD, and a postdoctoral position while working in highly demanding environments.

From the outside, everything looked successful. But on the inside, I was living in a constant state of stress. The worst part was that I didn’t even realise it until my body forced me to stop: Bell’s palsy, back pain, exhaustion, and anxiety.

That experience completely changed the way I see stress.

I started practising yoga and quickly noticed its positive effects. I felt calmer, less reactive, more present, and even my work improved.

Inspired by that transformation, I trained as a yoga teacher. Today, I help people find simple, practical ways to manage stress, reconnect with themselves, and create moments of calm—even in the middle of busy, demanding lives.
